Custom hand-painted canvases and signs — from coastal decor to personalized gifts — each piece painted by hand, made unique.
From the first sketch to the final coat, every canvas and sign is created with intention and care. Here's what we specialize in.
Original artwork painted to your specifications — landscapes, portraits, abstracts, or anything you can imagine.
Business signs, home décor plaques, wedding signs, and event lettering — all painted by hand with lasting quality.
Ocean-inspired pieces that bring the coast into your home — shells, waves, boats, and seaside scenes.
Memorial canvases, anniversary gifts, baby name art — meaningful pieces crafted for life's special moments.
Welcome signs, seating charts, table numbers, and ceremony backdrops — all hand-lettered and beautifully painted.
Turn your favorite photos into hand-painted canvas art — from family portraits to pet photos and vacation memories.
A selection of completed commissions and finished pieces ready for their new homes.
Salty Penny Canvas is rooted in Morehead City, a town where the water shapes everything — the light, the colors, the rhythm of life. That coastal energy finds its way into every piece we create.
We started with a simple belief: art should feel personal. A canvas shouldn't just hang on a wall — it should tell a story, hold a memory, or spark a feeling. That's why every order is custom-made, never mass-produced.
Whether it's a nautical scene for a beach house, a memorial piece for a loved one, or a hand-painted sign for a new business, we treat each project like it's going into our own home.
